Captain (Master) Overview:
- Oversees and is responsible
for the entire operation of the vessel.
- Reports directly to
VP/Maritime Operations shoreside.
Requirements:
- Captain's required licenses
and all applicable certifications by a recognized maritime government body, USCG
registered.
- Extensive experience with
minimum five to eight years in subordinate positions on board ships.
- Solid experience in all
navigational electronic and computerized equipment.
- Graduate of accredited
maritime training school or facility.
Salary Range
- Passenger vessels:$5,000-6,000
per month.
- All other vessels: $98,000 per
year.
Contract Length:
- Passenger vessels: 3-4 months
on/4-6 weeks off.
- Other vessels: 3-5 months
on/4-6 weeks off.
