Overview:

  • Oversees and is responsible for the entire operation of the vessel.
  • Reports directly to VP/Maritime Operations shoreside.

Requirements:

  • Captain's required licenses and all applicable certifications by a recognized maritime government body, USCG registered.
  • Extensive experience with minimum five to eight years in subordinate positions on board ships.
  • Solid experience in all navigational electronic and computerized equipment.
  • Graduate of accredited maritime training school or facility.

Salary Range

  • Passenger vessels:$5,000-6,000 per month.
  • All other vessels: $98,000 per year.

Contract Length:

  • Passenger vessels: 3-4 months on/4-6 weeks off.
  • Other vessels: 3-5 months on/4-6 weeks off.
