Overview:

  • Designated navigation officer and subordinate to the 1st Officer.
  • Reports directly to the Chief Officer.

Requirements:

  • All applicable certifications by a recognized maritime government body, USCG registered.
  • Extensive experience with minimum two to three years in subordinate positions on board ships.
  • Solid experience in all navigational electronic and computerized equipment.
  • Graduate of accredited maritime training school or facility.

Salary Range

  • Passenger vessels:$2,200-2,700 per month.
  • All other vessels: $55,000 per year.

Contract Length:

  • Passenger vessels: 3-4 months on/4-6 weeks off.
  • Other vessels: 3-5 months on/4-6 weeks off.
