Overview:

• Responsible for the daily maintenance and cleaning of specific engine parts as directed by the Chief Engineer.
• Reports directly to the Chief Engineer.

Requirements:

• Experience with minimum one to two years in subordinate positions on board ships.
• Graduate of accredited maritime training school or facility with several years experience in engineering or related position.

Salary Range

• Passenger vessels: $1,200-1,600 per month.
• All other vessels: $39,000 per year.

Contract Length:

• Passenger vessels: 5-6 months on/6-8 weeks off.
• Other vessels: 3-5 months on/4-6 weeks off.
